On behalf of the Southwest Washington Labor Roundtable, I want to extend to you a warm welcome and a hearty thank-you for checking out our web site.

The Labor Roundtable of Southwest Washington is an Ad Hoc organization of leaders from many different labor Unions and community members, who have joined to provide a general forum for collection and exchange of information and opinions. The Labor Roundtable of Southwest Washington had its first meeting over 33 years ago.

The Labor Roundtable of Southwest Washington is attended by a variety of people. Our members include but are not limited to Union leaders, Politicians, labor friendly citizens as well as community leaders, such as Mayors and City Councilmen. You will even see County Commissioners, State Representatives, or Senators at our meetings. We even have organizations like the Share House, Southwest Washington Medical Center and the Port of Vancouver in regular attendance.

On the last Friday in September each year there is a Labor Awards Banquet, where by Labor Union’s, Labor Organizations, Labor Leaders are awarded for their outstanding service not only to our community but also to the labor movement.

The Labor Roundtable meets every other Friday for breakfast at 8:00 at the Hometown Buffet 7809-B Plaza Drive Vancouver, WA 98665.

As we all know, the next few years will be very important to us here in Clark County. We must continue to support our current elected officials, and work to elect strong people who will continue to work for each and every one of us.

I look forward to seeing you at the Labor Roundtable of Southwest Washington in the near future.

Sincerely,

Ed Barnes
Chair
Southwest Washington Labor Roundtable
