Black Lives Matter – Navigating Holiday Conversations

December 5, 2017 @ 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Vancouver Community Library
901 C St
Vancouver, WA 98660

A community dialogue hosted by SURJ Clark County and Black Lives Matter Vancouver.
Coming together during the holidays can represent the best of our families, but also the worst. With that comes a lot of anxiety as we prepare to be in fellowship together.
We invite you to this community dialogue to encounter and participate in holiday conversations in a productive way, while respecting the humanity of the people that we love and care about.
While we’d like to give you the tools to completely dismantle racism and systemic oppression, we know that’s not realistic or possible. What we can offer you, is an opportunity to be in fellowship with others in similar experiences and a few tools to help you navigate more safely and grounded in your own truth.
